Your NBFC and fintech lending clients hold KYC and transaction records that RBI and PMLA rules require kept for five years, and the DPDP Act permits refusing erasure where another law requires the record kept: for each erasure request it flags, the Compliance Vault records which law that is. Your Hospital Clients
ABDM and DPDP put them in the same bind.
The Health Data Management Policy under ABDM runs its own consent framework for health records exchanged in that ecosystem. The DPDP Act sets its own consent obligations from 13 May 2027. A hospital inside ABDM works under both over the same patient record.
ConsentOS covers the DPDP side. Patient consent is recorded per purpose, signed, and kept with its audit trail and a withdrawal path. It does not connect to ABDM, so the ABDM consent flow stays in the hospital's health information system.
